Ingredients

  • 400g Paneer, cubed
  • 1 cup Thick curd (hung curd preferred)
  • 1 tbsp Ginger-garlic paste
  • 2 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp Chaat masala
  • 1 tsp Cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric
  • 2 tbsp Mustard oil
  • 1 Capsicum and onion, cubed
  • to taste Salt and lemon juice

Instructions (60 min total)

    Mix hung curd with all spices, mustard oil, ginger-garlic paste and salt. This is your marinade.

    Add paneer cubes, capsicum and onion to marinade. Coat well. Refrigerate 30-60 minutes.

    Thread onto skewers alternating paneer, capsicum and onion.

    Grill on a hot pan or oven grill at 220°C for 15-18 minutes, turning midway.

    Once charred spots appear, remove and sprinkle chaat masala.

    Serve hot with mint chutney, lemon wedges and onion rings.
